The same questions for everyone
Every day, five series of twenty questions are drawn for the whole planet. Everyone gets exactly the same ones, in the same order: a leaderboard only means something if the difficulty is the same for all.
A question lasts fifteen seconds. Recognise a cover, name a studio, say which of two games came out first, or which takes longer to finish.
Scoring, and why speed counts
A right answer is worth 10 points. Answered within a second it is worth 20, then one point less per second elapsed. Knowing is enough to score; knowing fast is what separates people.
The leaderboard is worldwide and all-time, with a per-country board beside it. A series you start counts, even if you drop it: you do not restart a series to erase a bad opening.
