AlloGames is published by Prisma Go. Using the app means accepting what follows.

What the service is

AlloGames is a social network for video games: a collection to file and rate, reviews, lists, events, a quiz, chat rooms, and second-hand sales between players.

The catalogue comes from IGDB. Titles, cover art and images remain the property of their rights holders; they are shown for reference.

Your account

You must be 13 or over to create an account, and 15 in countries that set their digital age of consent there. Below that, the consent of a parent or guardian is required.
One account per person. No impersonation, no username built to mislead.
You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think it is no longer yours.

Without an account the app still works: your collection then lives on the device and does not leave it.

What you post

Your reviews, lists, notes, messages, listings, username and profile picture stay yours. By posting them you grant us only the right to display them in the app and on the images it lets you share them as, for as long as you leave them there.

These have no place on AlloGames:

hate speech, insults aimed at a person, harassment;
unlawful content, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
sexual content, or anything plainly unsuitable for a 13-year-old audience;
advertising, cold selling, bought reviews or reviews posted in series;
any attempt to skew a vote, a ranking or the quiz.

Votes and contests

Events and the quiz are free and carry no financial reward. One vote per person and per device: a technical fingerprint of the device is what guarantees it. Any attempt to vote more than once, to automate a game or to skew a ranking leads to the removal of the results concerned and may suspend the account.

Results are announced at the published time and are readable before then by no one.

Selling between players

We are not a party to the sale. AlloGames puts a seller and a buyer in touch, and stops there: the price, the payment, the handover and the condition of the game are settled between you. We take no commission, collect nothing, and can neither refund nor arbitrate a dispute.

You may only offer games you own and whose resale is lawful: no copies, no counterfeits, no digital key whose transfer its publisher forbids.
A listing must describe the condition of the game honestly, and its price must be the one you are really asking.
These are sales between private individuals. If you sell as a matter of course, it is up to you to meet the obligations of a professional seller.

AlloGames Plus

The AlloGames Plus subscription removes the ads from the app. It adds no feature and gives no advantage in the votes, the rankings or the marketplace.

It is taken monthly or yearly, and renews automatically unless cancelled at least twenty-four hours before the period ends.
Payment and billing are handled by the App Store or Google Play. Cancelling is done in your account settings there, not in the app.
Refunds fall under the terms of the store you paid through. We cannot grant any.

Advertising

The app shows ads, marked as such by the word « Ad ». They are served by Google AdMob and are not personalised. We do not control their content; an ad that strikes you as out of place can be reported to us, and the report is passed on to the network.

Reporting and moderation

Every review, message and listing can be reported, and every profile blocked, from inside the app. A blocked profile disappears from your lists and can no longer follow you or write to you.

We look at reports and may take down content or suspend an account that breaks the rules above. A suspension is notified to the address attached to the account, and you can contest it by replying.

Availability

The service is provided as is. We do our best to keep it working, without guaranteeing that it will always be available or free of error. The catalogue comes from a third-party source: an entry may be incomplete, a date wrong, a game missing.

We may change the app, alter features, or stop publishing it. In that last case you will be told early enough to retrieve your data, and any subscription in progress will be stopped.

Ending it

You can leave whenever you like: Profile → My account → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate. It does not cancel a subscription in progress, which is cancelled at the store where it was taken.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any action; failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction.

Changes

Any change will be published here, with the date it takes effect. A substantial change will be flagged to you in the app.
